Children & Youth Program

Children and youth receive personalized, trauma-informed support through one-to-one care and play-based programming. Offered both in shelter and through outreach, the program helps children express themselves, build resilience, strengthen family connections, and develop a sense of safety and belonging.

Our children and youth program offers a safe, nurturing, and trauma informed environment where children and their caregivers are supported in their healing journey. Through a combination of one to one support and play and activity based programming, we create opportunities for children to express themselves, build trust, and develop a sense of safety and belonging.

Programs are tailored both in shelter and outreach to each child’s age, developmental stage, and individual needs. We recognize that experiences of violence and abuse can impact the whole family, and we work alongside children and caregivers at their own pace to understand these impacts. Our approach focuses on building resilience, strengthening connections, and supporting each family’s path toward healing, stability, and well being.
