My Friendís House is seeking a dynamic forward-thinking leader to fill the role of Treasurer (CPA required) and can contribute to the implementation of My Friendís House Strategic Plan which includes the following goals:

To Listen Understand the changing priorities and needs of the community My Friendís house services.

To Expand Expand My Friendís House programs and services to more effectively empower women to reclaim and rebuild their lives.

To Build Grow My Friendís House facilities to create a safe haven for more women and their children.

To Advocate Be a voice in the community for equality.

To Integrate Build inclusive practices that respect diversity into all aspects of My Friendís House.

To Invest and Sustain Build financial sustainability for the future.

Become part of a dedicated and engaged team

As a member of our skill-based Board of Directors, you will enjoy a culture of shared responsibility and an opportunity to add to the perspectives of other volunteer board members. You will share in the development and implementation of our strategic plan, monitor our performance, quality and risk and ensure sustainable operations. You will act as ambassadors at events, community forums and networking opportunities and be asked to participate in proactive discussions that maintain My Friendís House as a leader in the provision of specialized services to abused women and their children.
